The Inserta Tee is a three-piece service connection consisting of a PVC hub, rubber sleeve, and stainless steel band. It compression-fits into the cored wall of a mainline and requires no special tooling beyond the Inserta Tee hole saw bits — connecting 2" (51 mm) through 30" (750 mm) services to virtually all solid-wall, profile, closed-profile, and corrugated pipes made today.
What Is an Inserta Tee?

How the Inserta Tee Works

PVC Hub
A strong PVC hub receives the incoming lateral and seats against the cored mainline wall at the pipe's internal radius.
Rubber Sleeve
An ASTM F477 gasketed rubber sleeve compresses into the cored hole to form the watertight seal — no glue, epoxy, or grout.
Stainless Steel Band
A minimum 301-grade stainless clamping band locks the assembly in place. No re-tightening, no secondary clamps.
