This 3 IN double check detector backflow preventer assembly prevents the backflow of non-health hazard fire protection system substances from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply. It incorporates a cubic foot meter to detect ground leaks and unauthorized illegal taps, greatly reducing annual water expenses. It consists of a compact epoxy coated cast iron unibody, Its modular check design facilitate simple and easy installation and maintenance. The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek®, a patented 3-part advanced epoxy coating system designed to limit both microbial induced (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion. Maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
