This 1 1/4 inch lead free cast copper silicon alloy Y pattern strainer is designed to be installed in the water piping systems to protect expensive equipment such as backflow preventers from damage or failure that can be caused by foreign material in the pipeline. It consists of a lead free body, tapped retainer cap with closure plug, gasket and 304 stainless steel recessed screen seats for accurate screen alignment. The maximum working pressure is 400 psi (27.6 bar).
