This 4 inch lead free MasterSeries® configurable design double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed for non-health hazard applications and prevents the backflow of pollutants that are objectionable but not toxic, from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. This valve features a longer lay-length for drop-in replacement of competitor?s Z-pattern valves. It is ideal for protection of non-health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance. This assembly without the shutoff valves consists of an epoxy coated ductile iron body with flanged end connections, two independent check valves, replaceable stainless steel check seats, and test cocks. The maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
